Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!
Valentines day, you either believe in it or you don’t, is just around the corner. It can be a dreaded day for singletons but also for people in a relationship, sometimes buying presents can be hard. Personally I’m not celebrating Valentines day as my 1 year anniversary is also in the same month so I’m celebrating that instead but I can also benefit from this for when I buy my boyfriend a present for our anniversary so here is a gift guide for valentines day for him.
Obviously if you want to stay traditional and not spend lots you can just buy a card or a box of chocolates and a film for you both and spend a nice romantic movie night. But if you’d rather go for something else then here are some gift ideas.
Sainsburys have some really good valentines day presents and they are affordable. Some of the present ideas I love are the matching His Lordship Keyring and Her Ladyship Keyring, they are such a cute idea for a present you can have together and they only cost £3.00 each. If you like the matching idea and have maybe just moved in with your other half then you could go for the His Lordship and Her Ladyship mugs which cost £4.50. If you wanted to go for something more edible then these I Love You Chocolate Truffles are such a cute little gift for only £2 and are very tasty as are the Lindt Lindor Strawberries & Cream Chocolate Truffles, £3.50, nice treat to eat together or leave just for your other half.
Notonthehighstreet.com do some amazing gifts in general, not just for valentines day and I loved browsing the valentines section for ideas on what to get my boyfriend. They are good for personalised gifts which I personally like as it adds a touch of you into the present. Some of the present ideas I loved are the personalised reason I love you cards – £13 or £19, which is what I actually got my boyfriend for our anniversary; Personalised couple’s date ideas jar – £18; Marshmallow toasting kit– £15 and Personalised carved heart oak photo frame– £24.95.
Groupon is good place to go to for gift experiences for a good affordable price. Obviously Groupon is different for everyone as it depends on where you live but a good experience I’ve been on was a Segway experience which is a good activity to go and do with your boyfriend. A spa day may also be a good gift if they’d be up for doing it, I know my boyfriend wouldn’t but thats just him. Also Groupon do some good food and drinks deals which may be good for a nice valentines day meal out, I’ve been on a drinks and nachos deal that was on in a local pub in Edinburgh and it was amazing, definitely check it out if you are from Edinburgh, it was only £10! Check out your local area for deals, you may get an amazing meal out for you and your other half.
I hope this little gift guide has given you some ideas for a valentines day present for your loved one. I’ll see you in my next post!
