US Haul

Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!

So everyone knows I love to buy makeup, I am addicted, and I love to buy makeup from the US as they do a lot of makeup brands that the UK don’t have but I end up paying an arm and a leg for shipping and sometimes on top of that there is customs. So my dad’s friend who he plays golf with offered, after my dad telling him about all my makeup buying, to pick me up makeup when he went over to Las Vegas. I of course accepted because I would never miss a chance to buy makeup. I did spend a lot of money on all this makeup but it would have cost me even more if I had to pay for shipping. So now on to all the makeup.

So the first set of items in the bag are from Bath and Body Works. I love Bath and Body Works and it really annoys me that there isn’t one in the UK and they don’t ship to the UK either so I took a chance to stock up on some of their famous Pocketbacs. Their Pocketbacs are hand sanitisers and I love them for keeping in my handbag and on my dressing table for when I do my makeup.

L-R: Watermelon Lemonade, Coconut, Vanilla Buttercream, Maui Mango Mai Tai, Snickerdoodle and Jamaica Pinapple Colada.

I never asked for specific scents, I just asked for  random ones but they picked up amazing smelling ones, they are so good! I also asked for a new Pocketbac holder as my old one broke so I got this cute little koala one 🐨 and what makes it even cuter is the little leaf lights up. I can’t wait to put this on my bag.

Swatches L-R: Honey Buns, Feelin’ Nutty, Honey Brittle and Bee Sweet

So the next few products are from Ulta. The first thing I got was the new Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette. I’d seen this on Instagram a few times and decided it was a must have, I had to get it. The shade selection has a range of colours, my favourite being the bright yellow colour “Honey Buns”. The palette does have a scent to it, I’ve never smelt peanut butter before but I can smell a slight honey scent to it which would make sense seen as it is called the peanut butter and honey palette (duh).
I also got a free makeup bag with the palette  which I wasn’t expecting so it was a nice little surprise when I got it. It came with a full sized honey infused lipgloss inside which is such a cute little gift, I love it.

The next product is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. I’d seen KathleenLights go on about this a few times on her channel so when I seen they sold this on Ulta I decided to get it. It is sold on Amazon but it is more expensive on their than on Ulta. I got the shade ” Light Bronzer” and the smell of it just reminds me of summer holidays. The packaging is colourful plus really compact and it comes with a little mirror and sponge in the bottom compartment.

Finally from Ulta I got the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer! I have finally jumped on the bandwagon with this concealer, I have wanted this for ages and ages but it is always out of stock on QVC and on the Tarte website so that was the first thing on my list. I got the shade “Fair” as I am quite pale but I wanted this concealer for my under eyes. the applicator is massive which is something different for me but this concealer is amazing, it is so creamy and blends so easily under my eyes, its definitely my new go to concealer.

The last place I got products from was obviously Sephora. I couldn’t not get any products from Sephora as its like makeup heaven in Sephora. The non makeup items i got from Sephora was perfumes. I never get through a whole bottle of perfume so I got 3 rollerballs. I got a new Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black for Her rollerball as that perfume is so good, it is one of my favourites. I am the worst when it comes to describing scents for perfume so I’m not going to try and describe it. The next 2 perfumes I got were Alien and Flowerbomb. I have smelt both these perfumes before in Boots and really liked them but I didn’t want to pay £40-£50 on a whole bottle so I got the little rollerball ones instead. The good thing about rollerballs is that they are very easy to travel with so perfect for topping up your perfume on a night out and for taking on holiday.

Now onto makeup, so the first makeup item I got was the CoverFX Customer Enhancer Drops in “Halo”. Again this was a Instagram made me buy this item as I had seen it on Trendmood’s Instagram and it really appealed to me. It is holographic but I find it mostly looks purple but it looks stunning, I’ve yet to use it on my face but the swatches I’ve done have always turned out stunning.

I  got 1 lipstick from Make up For ever. I did want the new Artist Liquid Matte lipstick but instead I got the Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick in C103. Its lovely pinky nude and it wears really nice on the lips, its a perfect lip colour for a day where you are wearing minimal makeup and want a easy to throw on lipstick then this is your guy.

The final makeup item I got from Sephora was of course the Anastasia Beverly Hills and Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit. Everyone has this because it is so stunning. Anastasia Glow Kit’s are amazing, they are some of the best highlighters I’ve used so I had to get this one. It has a range of different coloured highlighters- 3 pink shades, a white highlighter which is stunning and 2 bronze toned highlighters.

Top to Bottom- Kitty Kat, Forever Lit, Forever Young, Glo Getter, Daydream and 143

Thank you so much for reading this post and I hope you all enjoyed it and got some inspiration on some new makeup to buy.
