Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!
Here comes another holiday post! This time it’s a what was in my travel makeup bag. When it came to deciding what to take with me I really hated it, it took me ages.
The makeup bags I took was this Moomin one I bought from ASOS and I also took the Tanya Burr one from her Christmas set which contained all my makeup brushes and lip products. Now time for what products I took with me.
For primer I took the Loreal Infallible Matte primer and the Too Faced Hangover primer, which is a more hydrating one. For foundation I took the Loreal Cushion Foundation which throughout my holiday because too light as my face tanned so much. I took 2 concealers, the NYX HD concealer in ” 3.5″ for my face (I ended up using on its own towards the end of my holiday because of my tan) and the Tarte Shape Tape in “Fair Neutral” for under my eyes. For powder I used the Rimmel Stay Matte and the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in “Light Plus” and for translucent powder I took my travel sized Make Up For Ever HD Powder. For setting spray I used the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray in “Coconut”.
I went a tad over board with the bronzers but I was on holiday, I wanted to look like a bronzed goddess (really don’t know if I actually did). I took the Loreal Cushion Bronzer which was amazing, it blended so well into my skin to give me such a natural bronze. For powder bronzers I took the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer and the Benefit Hoola Bronzer plus I had the BECCA one in “Malibu Soleil” that is in the Chrissy Teigan Palette. For blush I took the NYX HD blush in “Amber” as it is my favourite and the BECCA blush in “Hibiscus Bloom” again from the Chrissy Teigan Palette. For Highlighter again I went overboard but you can never have too many highlighters to make you have that extra glow. I took theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer as it is my favourite golden highlighter, MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in “Soft and Gentle” as it looks amazing on tanned skin, Colourpop Highlighter in “Flexiterian” and the 2 highlighters from the BECCA x Chrissy Teigan palette, “Rose Gold” and “Beach Nectar”.
My eye primer of choice was of course the MAC Paint Pot in “Soft Ochre”. For eyeshadows I took a Colourpop empty palette and filled it with some single eyeshadows. All the names of the shadows will be in the photo below. Outside of the palette I took 3 single eyeshadows, 2 from Colourpop in “Weenie” and “Drift” and 1 from MAC in “News Flash!”. I only took one eyeliner which was the Colourpop eyeliner in “Mr Bing” as I wasn’t really too bothered about wearing eyeliner as it takes so much time to do so I took one that I only put in my waterline. For mascara I took the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and my new favourite mascara, the Loreal Miss Baby Roll. The Miss Baby Roll mascara really makes my lashes look amazing and like I’ve got false lashes on. A full review will be coming soon.
For brows I took my usual products which is the Benefit Precisley My Brow Pencil in shade “4”, Benefits Gimmie Brow in shade “5” and the Benefit Ready Set Brow.
Finally onto all the lip products I took. To start with I took the MAC Lip Conditioner and the Dior Lip Maximiser to prep my lips before lipstick. For Liquid Lipsticks I took the Kylie Cosmetics lipstick in “Candy K” and the NYX Liquid Suede in “Orange County”. For bullet lipsticks I took 2 MAC ones, one in “Velvet Teddy” and one in the Trolls collection called “Sushi Kiss” and 2 Colourpop ones in “Aquarius” and “I’m Yours”. I then just took 4 lip liners with me, Kylie Cosmetics “Candy K”, Colourpop’s “Skimpy” and “Aquarius” and the Sleek lip liner in “Pumpkin”.
