The Jaclyn Hill Palette | Review and Swatches

Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!

So here is my review of the long awaited palette from Jaclyn Hill and Morphe. This palette has been in the making for 2 years and as soon as I seen the first pictures for this palette I knew that I had to get a hold of it in any way I could.

The palette costs $38 dollars for 35 brand new eyeshadows that Morphe have never done before. Compared to their other palettes, the shadows in this palette have a new formula and the shadows are so buttery and blend so easily. The shimmers are so creamy and not chunky with glitter which the give the appearance to be. There is plenty of shades in the palette to suit everyone which I love as there are shades in the palette that I do not already own in different palettes and I needed those types of shades in my collection.

The actual palette is massive, it takes up so much room in my makeup drawer. I feel like this palette could get very dirty very easily because its white but its not something that would make me not buy the palette. The front of the palette is white with the name of the palette “The Jaclyn Hill Palette” in silver and the little Morphe logo at the bottom right hand corner. On the inside it has a message from Jaclyn saying “This palette is dedicated to all my loving subscribers” which I find is a nice little touch.

I love the way these shadows are set out in the palette, going from the lightest shade to the darkest. The 2nd and 3rd row are my favourites as they are warm toned shadows which is my favourite type of shadow to wear on my eyes.

So here are the swatches from left to right of the rows, shade names for the swatches are above.

I definitely find this palette is worth the money, it is quite hard to get ahold of in the UK but Morphe do ship over to the UK. I would recommend buying this palette with someone else, maybe a friend as it works out cheaper as you are halving the shipping cost with is around $25. I never received customs for this which I thought I would have so that was a bonus. Overall this palette is amazing, the shadows are some of the best I’ve used and Jaclyn and Morphe should be proud.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this review, if you love the look of this palette then keep up to date on Instagram for the latest news of a restock and try and grabs yours.
