Descendants 2 Mal Inspired Makeup Look

Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!

So I’ve been loving the Disney Channel film Descendants 2 recently so much that I decided to create a look based on the main character Mal. Disney Channel produces some amazing movies such as High School Musical and Camp Rock. So if you don’t know what Descendants is or what it’s about then I’d recommend watching the first film online somewhere but in a nutshell it’s about the children of our favourite Disney villains and Disney characters. Mal is the daughter of Maleficent and played by Dove Cameron in the film.

My eye look consisted of a lot of purples as Mal’s look is featured mostly around the colour purple. To create the look I used the Colourpop Single Pressed Shadow in “Silver Lining” and some of the purples and the matte cream shade from the Morphe 35W palette. I used the Kylie Cosmetics Blitzen liquid lipstick for my liner as I wanted to use a a purple liner than just a plain black liner. I topped off the look using the Paint Glow Holographic Glitter in Violet just to add a little something extra to the look.

For the rest of my face I primed the skin using the Infallible base from Loreal with the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation and the Make Up For Ever concealer palette for under my eyes. I used the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer to lightly bronze up my face and used the ABH contour kit to define my cheekbones, jawline and nose. For a pinky flush of colour to my face I used the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blush in “Pink Tease” and for my glow I used “Sand” from the ABH contour kit and “Purple Horseshoe” from the ABH Moonchild glow kit. Finally for the lips I again used the Kylie Cosmetics Blitzen lipstick on the lips.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this post and this makeup look. Go watch Disney’s Descendants because it is a really good film if you enjoy films such as High School Musical and Camp Rock.
