Double Cut Crease| KathleenLights and RawBeautyKristi Inspired

Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!

So with everyone in Scotland being snowed in because of the Beast From The East, I’ve been very bored. A day of being stuck in the house is very boring so I sat down at my dressing table and decided to play about with makeup.

I love playing about with all my palettes, it’s my favourite way of actually using all my palettes. I recently watched Kathleenlights video of her recreating a RawBeautyKristi tutorial and I got really inspired by it. I used the Colourpop Yes Please palette for this look as it was the same palette used in the tutorial. The first photo is the original makeup look by RawBeautyKristi and the second photo is the recreation by KathleenLights.

I primed using the Tarte Shape and set it with the Kat Von D Lock It powder. I started off with the shade “Big Cocktails (1)” in the crease and then added “Mischief (2)” lightly on top of “Big Cocktails”. On the outer part of the eye I took “Spoiled (3)” and dragged it into the middle of my crease and then winged it out.

I cut the crease using my Shape Tape and set that down again with the Kat Von D powder. I did start off using the shade “Chauffeur” but changed mind and went in instead with my NYX Pigment in “Shanghai Sun”. Before I went in with the Pigment on the lid I took the Mac Pigment in “English Glit” to line the cut crease, jazzing it up compared to the original look. In the 2 videos, they both done a “blank space” to define the cut crease.

I took the pigment underneath the glitter, I did put some of the NYX Pigment Primer on first. After putting all the pigments on I went back in to define the crease, using again “Spoiled” and “Big Cocktails”. I also took the shade “Mischief” again to blend out all the edges. I also took the shade “Chauffeur (4)” again over the top of the NYX pigment to make it pop even more.

For the bottom lash line I took the same shades as in the crease but in the opposite order, like the original tutorial. I also added some gold eyeliner in the waterline and I also put some of the Collection Glam Crystal Liners in the middle of my lower lash line for some added glam. My inner corner highlight is “Trophey Wife”.

I finished this look with my new favourite lashes, Tatti Lashes. I’ll do an overall list of all the eye products down below! This look was done using Morphe and Sigma Brushes!
