Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!
So my birthday was 2 weeks ago now (so sad) and I turned 20! I’m no longer a teenager and I’m officially getting old. I got some amazing presents for my birthday and I knew I just wanted to share what I got with all of you. I am not trying to brag about the presents I’ve got, I’m so grateful to everyone who got me gifts.
The majority of my presents was money. I know it’s quite a boring gift to talk about but I’m always so grateful for money, especially since I have a few things planned for the next few months.
My boyfriends mum and dad got me a massive gift box full of Lush products. I now have so many Lush products now, I’ll not have to buy any for a very long time. The gift box was the Happy Birthday one and it comes with about 5 bath bombs/ bubble bars and the Sea Monster “Fun”.
They also got me a Pandora Charm for my bracelet which was very nice of them. It was a little cat which I love as I have 2 cats of my own and I’ve always had cats so it’s quite sentimental to me.
My boyfriend got me a few gifts from Urban Outfitters which is one of my favourite shops. He got me some snap on filters for in Fujifilm Instax Mini. I’ve eyed these up a few times when I’ve been at Urban Outfitters but never took the plunge to buy them. They come in 6 different colours, some of them very pastel looking. The example photos on the back of the box look really interesting, I’m excited to give them a try.
The next present he got me from Urban Outfitters was a mug which has a sloth on it as he knows how much I love sloths. It just says “Why be moody when you can shake your booty” and the sloth is dancing. I really love it, I’ve not yet used it as I already have a few favourite mugs but I know I will use this so much.
To start off the Disney theme of my presents my boyfriend got me iPad Case from the Cath Kidston x Disney collection. I was unsure if it was going to fit but it does which I was very happy about. It’s just navy blue with lots of little Disney character prints all over it. I feel I’ve been using my iPad more that I’ve got this cute case in it, I just want to show it off.
My final gift from my boyfriend was a Swarovski Necklace. My boyfriend always buys me jewellery, especially necklaces and I love every one of them. This one is just 3 little circles and each circle has Swarovski crystals in them. I love how dainty this is, it’s so delicate. I know for a fact I’ll wear this all the time, I’ll need to find a way to be able to wear all the necklaces he’s got me at once!
The last presents I got where from my best friends! They told me that I was hard to buy for and that in the meet ups they had to decide what to get me they instead bought a tank driving experience for 2. The first present was a Cath Kidston x Disney bag. It has the same pattern on it as my iPad case that my boyfriend got me. It’s a small cross body, in the shape of Mickey Mouse (it even has the ears!), which I like as now I have a bag that I can use when I don’t want to lug my Givenchy Antigona out. It also has 2 card slots inside which I’ve never seen in a bag before. I took it for a test run today and it was the perfect little bag for me.
To go along with the Disney theme they got me a Disney charm for my Pandora bracelet. They got one the one which resembles a Minnie Mouse ears headband that you can get in the Disney parks. I obviously got a pair of ears when I was in Disneyland so I really liked the thought behind it and I love how I can now have my Minnie Mouse/ Disneyland ears with my all the time.
My final present from my friends and probably my most favourite is a Poster from RedBubble. That may seem like quite a boring present but it’s what’s on the poster that makes it amazing. It’s called ‘The Ultimate Guide to Single Ladies’ and it has little dancing Beyonce’s on it with all the dance moves and actions to the song. Whenever Single Ladies comes on I have to get up and dance as I know the exact dance to the chorus of it so now I can learn the rest of the dance thanks to the poster. The poster is literally me, I love how it’s got a lot of thought and meaning to it.
Again I’m in no way trying to brag with what I got for my birthday. I really love everything that I got and I’m so grateful for everything and all the money I got. I’ve written ‘Thank You’ cards to a lot of people I got presents from to show how grateful I am for everything. I still can’t believe I’m no longer a teenager and next year I’m 21!
