Hi everyone and welcome back to The Coveted Lifestyle!
So I’m back, finally back to blogging. I know I’ve barely posted since the start of April and I hate the fact I’ve not posted much in the past month. I thought before I get back to posting regularly I would do a little life update about where I’ve been, what I’ve been up to and what’s to come.
So one of the major reasons as to why I’ve barely posted was because of uni and writing my dissertation. I’ve done a blog post all about dissertations but at the start of April, it was all about finishing my dissertation and making sure it was done for my deadline. All my time was spent writing my dissertation, I spent 8 hours in the library in uni for a few days before my deadline as I needed to get it done and I wouldn’t do it at home. After I finished my dissertation I then had another assessment to write before I was completely finished with uni. I didn’t finish uni until the 22nd of April so I basically missed the whole month of April because of uni.
I have had my uni results back now though and I got a B (68%) on my dissertation, which I was so proud of, and I passed my other assessment too which means in July I graduate from my uni with a 2:1 Ba (Hons) degree in Event Management 🙌🏻. So I mean the lack of blog posts because of uni work did work out as I am graduating with a good degree.
After finishing uni I planned to blog full time. I posted one post about the whole dissertation process at the end of April as I knew that I had missed all of April for blogging. I had planned all my content for May and I was so excited but I ended up getting ill so everything blog related went out the window. I genuinely have never been as ill in my life as what I have been recent. I was off sick from work for a whole week, I didn’t leave the house for days as I didn’t have the energy to get up. For the first week of my illness, I had a bad headache that was all around my head and I also had a bad fever. After I got rid of my headache and fever I then just didn’t have any energy, all I wanted to do was sleep. I was getting really worried as I still wasn’t feeling well and I was going on holiday so I ended up going to the doctors and I found out I have glandular fever.
I still actually have glandular fever as I can still have it for another 3 weeks but I am feeling a lot better than what I was so I feel up for writing blog posts. I genuinely hated the idea of writing blog posts while I was ill as I couldn’t concentrate on anything properly. I genuinely packed for my holiday the day before I left as every time I went to do it I fell asleep.
Finally last week I was actually at Disneyland on holiday. I was so nervous about going as I didn’t know how well I would deal with all the walking but I surprisingly felt really good. I took a lot of paracetamol as that’s what the doctor told me to do and it helped lots. I had such a fun time while in Disneyland and I will be doing a travel diary about it so you will all hear about my travels in Disney.
I had a scheduled post that went up last week while I was away but again like April, the month has gone away from me because I was ill then away on holiday so I missed a month worth of blog posts. I will be back blogging from today as I am finished uni and feeling better so I have no excuses now. I have so many posts planned so June will be full of blog posts and I will be back into the swing of things and upgrading my blog content.
